One of the biggest questions that is asked between the bride and her maid of honour is "Where are we having the hen party?" And rightly so. But the reality is you're spoiled for choice in Ireland so don't panic! Based on our vast experience organising hen parties all over the country here is our top 5 locations.
Top Choice: Kilkenny
In some ways this is quite an obvious choice and it has stood the test of time as being a very popular location. But we think Kilkenny actually does have it all to offer. Firstly it's a very hip spot - great bars, great surroundings, fantastic restaurants and very welcoming people. They do recognise their popularity with hen and stag parties but they also value it.
Number 2: Athlone
Athlone is a very picturesque town right in the heart of the country.It's very 'hen friendly' but is still a bit of newcomer to the scene. Great accommodation, the Shannon is there for cruises, good shops, great outdoor stuff and lovely bars and restaurants.
Number 3: Galway
What's great about Galway is that you're just part of an overall weekend party scene. Brilliant, vibrant, friendly atmosphere. Top class music and some of the best hotels in Ireland. Everyone loves Galway - and that includes us.
Number 4: Wexford
Wexford is still a nice little secret - it should be an obvious choice considering what it has to offer. It is one of our favourite spots to run our events simply because the people are amazingly friendly. Alongside the great accommodation and bars you can head to some of the most amazing beaches to walk off the night before. Oh and a special mention for their spa facilities.
Number 5: Dublin
When people think about hen parties and Dublin they think Temple Bar. However, there is so much more than that in Dublin to consider. There is a huge variety of bars and restaurants to suit every taste and you know what, if you are looking for something a little bit different then why not consider Dublin?
